Ever laughed so hard you can’t speak or even breath? This is one of those moments captured by my dear friend Emma. Humor is a delightful gift I’ve enjoyed on many occasions.
30 Days of Thankfulness: Color
30 Days of Thankfulness: Family’s Cottage
30 Days of Thankfulness: Basic Provisions
I’ve reflected on this week how easily all my basic needs are met every single day. I never wonder where to sleep at night or where my next meal will come from. Volunteering this week at Feed My Starving Children reminded me of what a blessing it is to have simple basics.

30 Days of Thankfulness: Fall
I love Christmas, the snow, the music, the food, the general cheer of the season. I just love everything about it. But more often than not, my zeal for the season starts a bit too early and I allow Thanksgiving to simply pass by. So this year I’ve been inspired to take November and post each day about something for which I am thankful. I am excited for the creative challenge of finding an image that will represent thanksgivings and for a structured way (I need that) to thank the Lord for He has done marvelous things!
To start things off I am so thankful for the fall! The beauty of nature seems to shout the praises of its Creator. It is a short but oh-so-magnificent season. A friend recently commented to me that fall is unique in that things are dying but there is such beauty in that death. Awesome.
